The Cord Break Strength is 800lbs +.
The Cord is Double Wrapped over the Quick Release Bar. 
The Leather Overlay is then sewn to the Release-Cord Assembly.
The Quick Release assembly is rated at 50 lbs 22kg.
We suggest the No-Fail*  Kevlar web version for lenses heavier than 24-70 2.8. 1.5 pounds 600 grams
